2. What can I realistically lose?

Don't only think about the possible profit.
Ask yourself:
"If things go badly, how much money could I lose?"
And more importantly, can you afford that loss?
3. When will I need this money?
Money you need next month should not be treated the same way as money you can leave invested for 10 years.
Your time frame matters.
4. What return am I expecting, and is it realistic?
If someone tells you that you can turn ₦100,000 into ₦1 million very quickly with little or no risk, that should make you ask more questions.
High returns usually come with higher risks.
Don't let greed make you ignore common sense.
5. What happens if things don't go according to plan?
This is one question many people forget.
What if the investment loses value?
What if you cannot withdraw your money when you need it?
What if the company fails?
What if the return is much lower than expected?
Think about the bad outcome before putting your money in.
Investing is not just about finding where to put your money.
It is about understanding what you are getting into.
Sometimes the best investment decision is not investing immediately.
Take your time.
Ask questions.
Do your research.
Understand the risks.
