How are you guys timing your entries on CONHALLPLC after these recent volume spikes?

Investment Strategies

I've been watching the order book on the simulator this week, and the price action on CONHALLPLC looks like it's trying to build a new base after that heavy movement. Are you guys waiting for a retest of the morning support before jumping in, or just scaling in slowly as the volume builds? Trying to refine my entry rules without chasing green candles too early.

When analyzing anomalous volume spikes alongside current sector liquidity flows, the initial market response often leans toward mean reversion rather than immediate trend continuation. Waiting for a validated retest of the morning support zone typically yields a more favorable risk-reward ratio than chasing early green candles. Alternatively, scaling in via tiered limit orders near key volume-weighted average price bands allows you to test your thesis assumptions while the order book depth stabilizes.

Omo, I'm still trying to figure out this order book thing myself because sometimes the volume spikes just confuse me completely on the simulator. I was actually wondering if waiting for the morning support to hold is safer, or if scaling in slowly is better so I don't end up chasing green candles and trapping myself. How do you usually decide when the base is actually set instead of just a fake-out?

Honestly, chasing those green candles on Conhall right now is a quick way to get caught on the wrong side in this simulator. I’m personally waiting to see if that morning support actually holds before committing any simulated cash. If the order book shows sellers drying up and it starts building a proper base, then scaling in gradually makes way more sense than jumping in headfirst.
