I've been watching volume build up around tickers like VITAFOAM and LIVESTOCK on the platform, but I keep hesitating on whether to buy the initial breakout or wait for a pullback. Are most of you scaling in during the morning session or setting limit orders closer to support? Just trying to refine my execution without getting caught chasing green candles.
How are you timing entries on mid-caps after earnings on the sim?

I am still trying to figure this out myself on the sim, especially with tickers like Vitafoam where those morning green candles look so tempting to jump into. I usually end up hesitating and missing the move because I cannot tell if a pullback is actually coming or if the price will just keep running. How do you guys usually decide when a support level is reliable enough to trust with a limit order?
Omo, that hesitation na normal especially with mid-caps on NGX because those green candles fit trap you fast if volume dry up suddenly. Me, I prefer waiting for the morning rush to cool down around 11 AM to see if the price holds support, then I scale in small-small instead of chasing market orders at the bell. If the pullback no come, I just leave am make e go—na sim we dey practice patience, not blood pressure.
